Matthew Neistat is a dedicated real estate professional who brings a diverse background and passion for serving his clients to the Block + Lot team. Originally from Miami, Florida, he holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Le Cordon Bleu and spent nearly a decade working in the hospitality industry before transitioning to real estate.
Matthew began his real estate career in Chicago in 2012 with Newman Knight Frank Healthcare Capital Markets, followed by a seven-year tenure at @properties Christies International Realty, where he worked with residential and investment properties. In 2021, he joined Jameson Sotheby’s before ultimately joining the Block + Lot team in February 2023. Additionally, he serves as Head of Acquisitions at CKO Real Estate in Chicago.
Matthew is known for his commitment to putting his client’s needs first and serving as their advocate. He credits his grandfather’s advice to prioritize people for his success and ranking in CAR’s Top 10% Producers.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son.
